What is the minimum age requirement?

You need to be older than 18 years old and need to have graduated from college.

Our programmes are also suitable for recent university graduates and MBA graduates. We accepted this wide range of ages and experience, but we draw each internship programme according to your background and career stage.

Do I need work experience?

We have a range of programmes, from those getting the first work experience as an intern or to those that have an extensive background in their countries and are looking for the first international experience in their impressive careers.

As an intern, do I have any rights at work?

All interns in Ireland have basic employment rights, including the right to a safe working environment, data protection rights, protection against discrimination, the right to adequate breaks and holidays.

As an intern, do I have the right to Public Holidays?

Interns are entitled to Public Holidays.

There are nine public holidays in Ireland each year. Public holidays in Ireland (as in other countries) may commemorate a special day or other event, for example, St Patrick’s Day (17 March) or Christmas Day (25 December). The list of public holidays in Ireland each year is as follows:

New Year’s Day (1 January)

St. Patrick’s Day (17 March)

Easter Monday

First Mondays in May, June and August

Last Monday in October

Christmas Day (25 December)

St. Stephen’s Day (26 December)

What if I am sick while on an internship?

We hope that this does not happen, but if it does, Interns cannot be required to be at work if they are sick. Usually, employers require notification of sickness and a letter from your doctor (usually) after the third day of sickness absence.

An internship abroad, is it safe?

Safety is an essential element in our programmes. We have selected stable places and companies to guarantee a great experience.

Also, in our process, we give orientation before the departure with an overview of safety issues that are important to the specific destination. In addition, we provide airport pick up and drop off to give a peace of mind to our students, a walking tour in the city centre to explain how the city works, a local office where we can meet and a local support to help them if they need an extra help.

If I have questions or problems when I am abroad, what should I do?

We know that when you arrive in a new country, you can have different questions, from how I can pay the bus to if I need a medical assistance, where should I go? And it is for this type of situations that we have a local support to help you with these issues. Besides, we always recommend the interns to engage in projects inside the company, and if they need a mentoring, our staff is ready to provide it. Giving book recommendations, articles, tools and processes that can help them to achieve a great result in their projects.

What time will I work during my Internship?

We will give this information as soon we finish your placement. However, the interns normally work between 9 am to 5 pm and no more than 40 hours per week. Furthermore, all interns are covered by working times rules, such as: entitlement to breaks during the working day, a limit on weekly working time, minimum weekly rest period.

When should I apply for the programme?

We are flexible with the beginning of the internships, but we suggest applying no later than 3 months before your aim date. This time is crucial, so we will be able to find a great place to do your internship, live and also to do all the visa paperwork, contracts and agreements.

Why do I need to apply first and after do an interview? How does it work?

These two processes are important to understand your needs, background and abilities. We create these processes to ensure that we will have the best matching process.

The first step is applying on our website, it is a simple process, and the most important things are the contact details and your CV or your LinkedIn profile. And do not worry if you think it is not the best CV or LinkedIn, because we just need to have an idea about your background to prepare an efficient interview. Furthermore in our services are included a CV and LinkedIn aid. It will leverage your chances to get a better position during your internship and after it.

And after you apply on our websites, we will answer you within 48 hours with an appointment, and in 2 working days, you will receive an email with the interview results.

If I have passed the interview with the placement team, what I should I do after it?

If you are approved in your interview, you need to confirm the place with a deposit. This deposit will guarantee your spot, and we will find a perfect job match for you, and it will give access to our online courses. Between 4 to 10 weeks you will have the exact day to start your internship, and you can buy your flight tickets.

We are confident about our placement team, but if we do not find a place for you, it is 100% refundable if we do not find a good experience for you.

How many interviews do I need to do before I get the internship?

You might have 2 online interviews; the first one will be with us, and the second with the host company. Sometimes you need to do more, but we also provide support and mentoring for job interviews without extra cost.
